A Definitive Ranking of Justin Timberlake Albums

Much respect to Justin Timberlake for finally apologizing to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson. As a fan, I want to take the time to remember the music instead of embracing cancel culture. So I’m ranking all of Justin’s albums in order from best to worst.

9. Man of the Woods

This album is last on the list, but don’t take that as a sign of its quality. I’d consider it his most underrated album and probably most important historically. It was featured prominent in the second impeachment trial of Donald Trump when Congressman Jamie Raskin revealed that playing Man of the Woods backwards detailed the Proud Boys’ plans to storm the Capitol in Washington D.C.

8. The 20/20 Experience — 2 of 2

The inclusion of the song “True Blood,” which is word for word the spec script that landed Justin his first Hollywood writing gig on 2 Broke Girls.

7. Trolls the Threequel: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

I received an advanced copy of the album and it has bops. Dr. Luke co-produced it.

6. FutureSex/LoveSounds

Justin did kidnap Prince and force him to make this album for him, but honestly it was worth it!

5. The 20/20 Experience

A lot of people disparage this album but it inspired a lot of people to get Lasik surgery.

4. Trolls: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

There’s an Ariana Grande song on this!

3. Trolls World Tour: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

There’s a SZA song on this!

2. Justified

Pharrell and Timbaland’s debut joint album is one of my favorite pop albums of the 2000s.

1. Zapruder

Maybe Timberlake’s bravest work, this score to the 8mm film depicting the assassination of President John F. Kennedy is the first time music took me outside of my own body. This is the most important piece of music of the 20th century.

Also, hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha fuck Justin’s apology.
